ADVENTURE SERIES

This is where skills leave training and show up in real life.

The Adventure Series is a progression-only training experience designed for dogs who have completed Paws in Practice and are ready to take their skills into new, real-world environments.

These sessions are not about teaching foundations, they’re about applying, strengthening, and generalising existing skills in thoughtful, engaging, and carefully supported settings.

Adventure Series sessions are offered as one-off or short courses throughout the month and may be weather-dependent. Each experience is designed to support confidence, resilience, calm behaviour, and teamwork while still being fun!

WHo is the adventure series for?

The Adventure Series is suitable for dogs who:

  • Have completed Paws in Practice
  • Can work calmly around other dogs and people
  • Have reliable engagement, recall foundations, and loose lead skills
  • Can stay under threshold in group environments
  • Enjoy problem-solving and learning with their handler

This series is not suitable for dogs with reactivity, significant behavioural concerns, or dogs who are still building foundational skills.

WHAT MAKES ADVENTURE SERIES DIFFERENT?

Adventure Series sessions are designed to help dogs generalise skills beyond the training space.

We carefully increase challenge through environment, movement, novelty, and context — not pressure. Dogs are supported to think, choose, and stay regulated while working through new experiences with their handler.

ADVENTURE SERIES EXPERIENCES:

ADVENTURE COURSE

The foundation of the Adventure Series. Dogs navigate low-pressure obstacle challenges designed to build confidence, coordination, and thoughtful movement while staying connected to their handler.

Life skills

This course addresses all the behaviours that affect your daily life with your dog. We cover essential skills like Loose Lead Walking, Recalls, Stays, Impulse Control, and Emergency Stops—each taught through innovative and engaging methods. With new techniques and varied distractions, no two sessions are the same. We tailor the experience to your and your dog’s current level, helping you advance and enhance these skills in exciting and novel ways!

ADVENTURE Walks

Guided group walks for dogs who have completed Paws in Practice. These outings allow dogs and handlers to practise skills in diverse locations while maintaining calm behaviour, focus, and connection.

RACE IN RECALLS

A recall-focused session designed to strengthen speed, reliability, and focus. Dogs practise recalls across varied surfaces, around obstacles, and with real-world distractions without pressure or competition.

ADVENTURE SCENTING

An introduction to scent-based enrichment and problem-solving. Dogs learn how to use their natural sniffing abilities in a calm, rewarding way that supports regulation and confidence.

FAST PAWS

Skill sequences inspired by agility foundations. Dogs practise navigating equipment thoughtfully while maintaining calm behaviour, focus, and emotional regulation around movement and activity.

Brain Games

Short, engaging problem-solving games designed to challenge your dog mentally. These sessions focus on thinking, adaptability, and confidence rather than physical intensity.

Tricksters

For dogs ready to build skills through fun and creativity. Tricksters supports confidence, body awareness, and engagement while strengthening your communication as a team.

The Adventure Series is about using skills in the world you actually live in, not just the training space.

If you’re unsure whether your dog is ready for the Adventure Series, or which experience is the best fit, we’re happy to guide you.
